NAOMI SUTTON, LSW, CEAP, ACSW - CLINICAL SUPERVISOR AND INTERIM DIRECTOR

Naomi was born and raised on O’ahu. She obtained a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Hawaii. She is a Licensed Social Worker, Certified Employee Assistance Professional, and Certified Substance Abuse Professional under the Department of Transportation. Naomi has been working in the EAP field since 1994, but has been counseling individuals and families since 1984. She also has extensive training and experience in management and critical incident stress debriefing. As the Clinical Supervisor of WorkLife Hawaii, the depth of her years of experience in this program and relationships with the companies we serve combine to enrich all our services statewide.
JULIA PHILLIPS, APRN, CEAP, SAP
Julia moved from Michigan to Hawaii in 1969 and considers herself a Kamaaina. She holds a master’s degree in clinical psychology and is also a Clinical Nurse Specialist and certified Employee Assistance Professional. Additionally she is licensed in Hawaii as a Substance Abuse Counselor and a DOT Substance Abuse Professional. She has many years serving the Hawaiian island families as a therapist with children, families and adults. Helping children and adults discover solutions to their problems and concerns is a focus of Ms. Phillips' EAP practice. Alcohol and drugs wreck havoc in the lives of many families. Assisting adults in accepting their illness and making real changes is another specialty of Ms. Phillips. In her free time Julia enjoys the beach, walking, reading and gardening. She also collects toys from all over the world.
JOYCE VOGLER, APRN, Dr.PH
Joyce has lived and worked in Hawaii for almost 20 years. She was raised in the Far East and South America, as her father was a diplomat in the U.S. government. She has a doctorate degree in Public Health from UH Manoa and a Master’s degree in Nursing in both Maternal Child Health and Mental Health. She is a board certified Clinical Nurse Specialist in Mental Health and an Advanced Practice Nurse. Joyce has been doing career counseling for students for over 20 years, and has been in the EAP field since 2005. She is a mother of 2 grown children. Currently she is a full time Associate Professor in the School of Nursing and Dental Hygiene, teaching healthcare management and also works part time in adolescent inpatient mental health services at The Queen's Medical Center.
CLAIRE NAKASUE - MSW, LSW
Claire was born and raised in California, living both in southern California and in the San Francisco Bay Area. Her family has roots in Hilo and Honolulu and she moved to Hawai`i in 2000. She has a Masters degree in Social Work, an Advanced Certificate in Gerontology from the Center on Aging, and is a Licensed Social Worker. Claire has been in the social services field for seven years working with older adults, caregiving issues, end-of-life/hospice, women’s issues, trauma and substance abuse. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her partner and menagerie of birds and a bunny, and loves active sports and ocean activities, especially racquetball, Asian martial arts, swimming and surfing.
ASHLI KRAUSE - OFFICE MANAGER
Ashli is a Navy Veteran and is currently married to an Active Duty Sailor in our Navy’s Submarine Force. She has lived in Hawaii for over 6 years. Ashli has her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Finance, and is currently preparing to begin Masters-level courses. She has two school-aged children and keeps busy with Baseball, Soccer, Football, and Dance lessons year round. She is also the Ombudsman for her husband’s command. In her free time she enjoys reading on the beach, exploring and hiking with her children, and is currently working towards finishing her first book about being a military wife.
