Margaret received her counseling degree in 1979 and was licensed with the first group of Hawaii Marriage & Family Therapists in 2000. She has worked in private practice and in agency settings, meeting families and individuals from all parts of the world. Margaret has lived on Kauai since 1992 and has enjoyed working in the schools as well as in the homes of island residents. She has a strong commitment to personal responsibilities for our choices and believes each of us is our own best source of problem solving. Jennifer Stevens, MA, LMFT

Jennifer Stevens, MA, MFT specializes in individual, couples and family therapy and maintains a private practice in Lihue, Kauai. With over 12 years experience as a marriage and family therapist, and as a graduate of John F. Kennedy University specializing in improving relationships with self or others, she works with a broad spectrum of clients. Among her areas of expertise are adjustment to significant life changes and recovery from traumatic experiences.

An interactive, solution-focused therapist, Jennifer's therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. She integrates complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, she works with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.
